A remake of a Hindi film which was a flop in it’s time. A debutant director. 3 actors with brilliant acting. A movie about Bollywood-style violence.
Rather than scene to scene remake the team has brought some more creativity to the movie by introducing the character of Rauf Lala(Rishi kapoor). Where as Mithun Chakraborty’s role as Krishnan Iyer was removed.
Rishi Kapoor as Rauf Lala and Sanjay Dutt as Kancha Cheena have impressed me a lot. Priyanka Chopra does not have a big role in the movie. But her acting was better than what we saw in her last flick Don2. Hrithik Roshan was impressive. He has proved that he is the only actor who can compete head to head with the mighty Khans.
There were many scenes that had the whole audience screaming in delight and screaming.
Sanjay Dutt’s entry and some more instances in the movie were fantastic.

1st half tells us the story of Vijay(Hrithik)’s father and his village Mandwa and the heights Vijay reaches in the mighty city of Mumbai. In 2nd half the attention shifts back to his village Mandwa.
Some parts of the movie seem to be stretched and some over acting by Sanjay Dutt.
At times u feel that there is a lot of violence in the movie and lot of bloodshed. Music is ok and the Chikni Chameli effect will add more money to the collections (as it was with Chammak Challo in Ra.One).
Hats off to the director for such a marvelous job and cinematography is also good.
I go with 3.5 out of 5.
A BLOCKBUSTER according to me. Hrithik will join the club of 100crores with this flick.
